I'm not for rushing changes to the master plan to get something erected quicker. The phase 2 site should remain zoned commercial. In the meantime, Hines should be encouraged to do something with the site that benefits the community and themselves.

...I just realised I may have to be careful here, as I think I was involved with them a decade or so ago. That is if my memory serves me correct, they where the ones that gave me a space to show my work for free during one of their events...so I am forever indebted to them. And they probably wouldn't take kindly to me playing on their acronym like that. My bad. >.<

Some work happening in the retail unit on the east side over the last week or so - still no indication as to what it is. My guess is some gas/electrical work as they had some heaters mounted from the ceiling that now appear to be gone.

My neighbour inquired about leasing and they’re being very particular about what they want - essentially only want retailers/restaurants that can cater to the office crowd.
