I don't see how it would be any different than having a unit with a balcony above - these units will be plenty bright (with nice views of the st lawrence area!)

Hmmm, I don't know... IMO, I quite like Old Yorke Place II (25 George St.) and New Town of York (135 George St.). They've started to grow on me over the years. There's some charm about them.

I agree. I find the midrise plan in the area to have created some beautiful projects. Part of me still wishes this area would be strictly midrise, but I can see that not being realistic at all in this day and age of high growth rates and land values. (But I can dream damnit!)
