It's not brilliant, but it gets a 'love' from me for the fact it's improved dramatically through the iterations, isn't 1/2 bad and has a great social purpose!

As an update, it's my understanding that government(s) (not specified) did not provide the necessary funding. The project is on hold.

Not specific to this site, but because of the Federal Election, New PMO and Cabinet -- and LACK of a Spring 2025 Federal Budget, it all means that the Ottawa funding-pools have now mostly run dry in a number of core CMHC and HICC managed programs in Summer 2025.
Assuming a new Federal Budget happens in Ottawa after Thanksgiving -- we might see projects get "un-stuck" in late 2025 -- and early construction start in spring 2026.
