Just talked to one of the guys there. The sidewalk on Queen will open soon.
They are just waiting for Shoppers to move in, apparently.
Shoppers is going in on the ground floor and FreshCo is taking the second floor.

If that's the case, then the sidewalk isn't opening any time soon. Shoppers opens later this year.

I think the move in is independent of opening. If move in is blocking a sidewalk it’s probably for large fixtures, in which case hopefully it comes sooner.

At some point, this building seems to have been intended to house a music venue which seems to be the reason for the music theming. Is there any indication that this is going ahead? From peering through the front, it really doesn't look like any venue is being constructed.

They're still actively marketing multiple retail spaces for lease, and it sounds like music remains part of what they're envisioning.
