I took this photo of the wildflower garden at the side of the church at Danforth and Jackman as a point of comparison. Just a simple plot and very successful. This is only its second summer.

This is the south side. The eastern building has some plants but then a huge interlocked space. I know some clearance is needed for a hydrant but this is ridiculous.

Then the west building is just... well... this... grass. They could have easily put bushes and hedges for days along this stretch. Instead... grass.
