The levels are kind-of wonky at the top. Core vs Mechanical and Electrical perimeter.

are they seriously going to slap a box on top and ruin the roof line?
There is a bit of a debate going on about that one as some of us believe the elevation diagram has the top part of the facade cut off in the picture to show where the top of the mechanical is either way the box needs to be there as it houses the TMD as well as other life support systems for the building Just hoping that the glass raises up enough to block it from most angles I would have actually loved to see the cladding on this come to a point at the top give the building a similar feel to the spire in Russia

I think the diagram was intended to clearly present the levels and mechanical details and doesn't mean that the glass crown portion was dropped.

It Would’ve been nice to have the top crown have a more sculptural tapered in design like the 2 IFC in Hong Kong. It Would elevate the overall building to an iconic status. The height and slenderness gives it the presence and dominance in the skyline, but the flat rooftop falls shorts

If there's a debate, it's ill-informed. The glass now stops with a parapet wall at 109, exposing the top of the uppermost mechanicals. I get that some, many, most, ALL of us would rather believe that the glass walls were still going to surround the top of the building, but they aren't anymore. Pinnacle is cheaping out. I'd love to be able to embarrass them into doing the right thing and completing the glass shroud as originally planned, but instead, Pinnacle seem to be fully willing to embarrass themselves and this city in perpetuity.

This is absolutely shocking and a travesty!
