I think I understand the white cladding now.
There will be 2 separate strips - a flat one on the facade and a bevelled one at the corners of the balcony.
The two will be separate (they won't merge), but from some angles, they'll overlap visually.
 
Phase II is set to impress from this vantage (among probably about a thousand others). Getting a little zig with the zag as the handsome cladding climbs. (And perspective-wise, will likely soar as high as the second observation deck on the CN tower?).

It'd almost look as high as the tip of the CN tower from that perspective, no? If Phase 1 is 65 storeys, and this one is more than 1 5x the height...

Here is how Sky Tower has risen since the beginning of this year:

Sky Tower has risen by about 25 floors since the year started, and the crane has risen from below the lamp post to above it. The horse (ideally it would have been Wilson) seems to enjoy his view of the construction.
