Since this area will have Tokyo style density, perhaps we can allow some commerical usages underneath the Gardiner like they have under freeways in Japan. I think it was mentioned recently in the York Off-ramp thread, but this will be replaced with eastbound Lake Shore lanes once the curve from Harbour is removed and the Jarvis offramp is shortened (like York) to touch down at Yonge.
 
where does the north bound PATH lead to from this building complex? their design illustration shows a bridge of some sort that goes under Gardiner, wonder where that leads to.

Yeah, don't know how that works with the off ramp to Jarvis being down lower than the expwy at that point
 
Bay Park Centre actually has a small amount of frontage on Yonge St. between 18 Yonge and the rail corridor. It will connect there, bypassing 18 Yonge.

The German visitor's comments weren't disparaging. It's true: a lot of the towers in our skyline were built at the same time. That's not a bad thing.
 
Yup. Almost everything created can be dated to periods in times.

light coloured brick slabs ... 1960s
dark coloured brick slabs ... 1970s
green glass and metal spandrel ... early 2000s
grey on grey spandrel glass ... 2017

It may well be a bad thing as they will become decrepit at the same time. And as the quality of construction is generally poor, that will likely happen sooner rather than later.

It sure will....look at the impact 5 buildings. (Ice 1-2, Harbour Plaza 1-2, 10 York), have done to Southcore @ 200m-235m
Well 1 Yonge and the LCBO lands next door will have 8 buildings over 215 meters
3 bldgs. - 215m-230m,
4 bldgs. - 260m-300m,
1 bldg. - 307m
Now imagine that
