It is supposed to be their next building after the parking lot on church, its going to be a new health sciences building if I remember correctly. construction is probably 2-3 years away.

Yes, the next building is the health building on Church.

Aside from some of the residence buildings that seem spread out across the periphery of the campus, I would think that the huge parking lot would represent the next several phases of academic buildings. Once it's fully built out, the plan to redevelop Kerr Hall would probably be next, possibly followed by the redevelopment of other buildings. The good news is that they seem to have enough land for the next several decades if they plan wisely.

There is some cladding up on the building now. No pics, but it appears to be a clear glass with black mullions
 
From Friday. Good addition to a neighbourhood that could use some improvement.
