New bikeshare added by the parking lot.
And I think they are planning to rip up the sidewalk for a good stretch on the north side of Commissioners. Just a hunch though, nothing concrete.

I suspect they will be installing one of their 'permanent' fences in that block not digging up the sidewalk but I guess we will find out and at some point they are going to demolish this old 'shed". and they will need to protect the sidewalk at that time. (BTW Looking at older Streetview pictures of this area reminds one of how much has changed!!)

Yay to more bike share. Wish they did notifications of when these things get added or subtracted.
Can anyone speak to how the building will run throughout the year when it’s open? I imagine it’s got a better winter setup than say, the Cherry Beach bathrooms. Will something actually run out of it on a regular basis? Is it just going to be an empty office with bathrooms closed half of the year?
I’m always a little mystified at the office in Corktown Commons- but this is a substantial two stories. Maybe that TRCA_HQ guy who’s always putting birds in tubes/bags on IG can set up shop.

True, and I generally update UT on net new additions or major removals, more regularly.

The Firehall is designated as a Recreation Centre and will run programming of some type, at some point. The building will be open year round so far as I know.
There will also be a second set of washrooms on the other side of Cherry where the restaurant will be..........at some point.
