With respect, you've never met someone pushing harder for bold ideas and ambition than me.
I'm all about 'aim for perfection, settle for excellence'.
But you still need to frame that in some sort of reality-based context.
What cannot work, and will not work, won't work.
That doesn't mean we ought to build an auto-centric suburb here, and I'm certainly not advocating that.
I'm all for making walking and cycling and transit as attractive as it can be; and for not providing more parking or drive space than is necessary.
I like the broad vision laid out by Allies.
But you still have to translate that into something not merely buildable, but rentable and saleable.
