The newest renderings do not look like they would facilitate a year round venue. The old renderings had what looked like large accordion doors that could close off the venue. Is it still going to be a year round facility?
 
FWIW, all the stories say the intention is still to supposedly rebuild it to be a year-round venue, as announced about four years ago.
I would assume any renderings are just illustrative vague artistic concepts, not an actual planned design they're going to start moving forward with any time soon.

Construction is supposed to start next year, so, better get on it then.

It is? Where did you read or hear that?
As far as I know, there was almost nothing said about the Live Nation project to rebuild the venue, other than it's supposed to eventually happen at some unspecified time in the future, as the "final component", which seemed to imply it wouldn't be done until after everything else.
