The bridge supports don't look like they're totally in line with each other. Is this going to be a curved bridge or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

Are the parts in the river the actual supports are are those forms that will be filled with concrete and then removed? Or are they jus there for the building of the bridge and then will be removed?

as mentioned a few pages back, the columns in the river are for a temporary crane decking
Though not sure if my eyes decieve me too because that column on the close side of the DVP looks slanted, like the bridge will be curved there.

Line 2 has a "temporary" 149 ETOBICOKE-BLOOR bus, running between KIPLING and HIGH PARK stations. To ensure customers have accessible connections to the stations and areas around the stations where elevators are being installed at, the TTC will be temporarily adjusting service on some routes and introducing a new route. (High Park – buses will pick-up and drop-off in the bus terminal. Customers can transfer to 189 STOCKYARDS for connection to Keele Station, which is accessible.) (Old Mill and Islington are not accessible at this time.) (There is no room at KEELE STATION for another bus route.) Also helps when an elevator out-of-service due to maintenance, vandalism, or mischief. Should be an accessible parallel bus to ALL rapid transit routes.

What about Line 3? There should be a parallel bus route or routes, whenever or just-in-case the elevators are out-of-service. Especially, if they refuse to install dual elevators, to "save money".


Don't know why they didn't just interline the 149 ETOBICOKE-BLOOR with the 189 STOCKYARDS. The HIGH PARK station is not accessible at this time, So they are telling people going east who need to use an elevator to transfer from the 149 to the 189, to use the elevators at KEELE station, and vice-versa going west. If "interlined", passengers could just stay on the bus to continue their trip. Must have been suggested by a non-handicapped, non-transit user.

I remember seeing a sign years ago when the elevator to the eastbound platform at St. George was down. Their proposed solution for someone in a wheelchair to go east from St. George was to board the 26 bus, ride it to Jane station, then get on an eastbound train.

Sounds like a solution suggested by a non-transit user.
 
I suppose it was a "solution" in that it was the fastest available way relying only on TTC accessible infrastructure, but the message is definitely that you should never rely on TTC accessible infrastructure if you have an important trip to make.
