No, he raises valid points but I suspect he would get further by picking fewer battles and accepting that (at least in some cases) people ARE trying.
To be clear, that's what I was implying when I was saying that.

I love that those unique projections on the east facade along Chestnut Street weren't cut from the final design. That seems like the sort of thing that would normally get cut with a Toronto project.

I like them too but I bet there are some who think they are unfinished balconies and the typical Toronto cheapening resulted in no $$ for railings! :->
