Slight flurries

Curious what the height of the last habitable floor is? That' how I count my building heights. I don't count spires, antennas and huge mechanical areas. Like the top 243 metres of the Burj is just empty space.
I think this was brought up some time ago, but the elevator goes up to the top floor at 292.275 metres, with a rooftop terrace for the penthouse units at 295.8 metres:

Huh. So when they were having their big 300 metre party the floor they were on wasn't actually at 300 meters.

They where having their 300 meter party because the tower passed 300 meters. It had nothing to do with their last floor height at the time. And for what that's worth.

Photos taken today, Friday (Jan. 16th). Lots of visible progress on the tower since my post from last Friday. There is now some of the skin installed on level 79, the bottom floor of the last section before the top, and all 3 of the remaining Rail Climbing Systems (RCSs) installing the skin have moved up (the 4th, the mini-RCS on the south side, was gone as of last week). So the east and north RCSs are at level 79, with some of the cladding visible on the east face in some shots. The west RCS is up to level 77, by the 4th mechanical section. Work also was being done at the top as I shot these, around the dampener enclosure, workers are visible there in some of the shots.
