It wasn’t feasible. It was an ask for height on paper and nothing more.

And IIRC it came with quite a bit of $$$ to be given in S.37 payments if they were to go through with height increase. I can't find the settlement decision but I believe was in the millions, if not tens of millions.

It’s not too bad but it is definitely a bummer

I think the top section of the newer version is disappointing, looking a little like an add-on, not too elegant. Oh well, it may balance better with 1BE as seen from the DVP.

Bummer about the height. All of the Skygrid paperwork also hinted towards the 85 storey version of the tower.

No possibility of that: all of the external cladding materials — suspender frames, windows, etc — are already fabricated, so the floors will go up as designed.

As I said earlier I think the 85 story looks better overall on the skyline, but now pinnacle one younge is gonna stick out even more

As a purchaser, I am glad it is Tridel. I had some leaked info on this I shared a number of pages back. Glad to hear that some on here think Tridel is good at the interiors. We still have heard nothing about whether or not they are going to honour our contracts?
