I had a chance to take a good look at this building today while waiting for the light at St. Clair and Winona. Man, is it ever ugly.

As if this building wasn't ugly enough, the painted stripes really put the icing on the cake. Strong candidate for ugliest building under construction in the city.

This is indeed awful. But IMO it's more to do with the Benvenuto Group. I'd reckon StudioAC would've been able to have a more creative expression on the finished product if they were to be at liberty to.

Midtown? Okay...sure thing bud.

The moniker 'Midtown' really stretches far nowadays in this city.

Google maps shows Midtown as anywhere from Bloor to Lawrence between the Don River/Leslie and Ossington/Winona/Oakwood/Marlee... which places this squarely at the very edge of Midtown (it's located at St. Clair and Winona, right where the boundary shifts to Oakwood). So... it is barely midtown
