There was remnant trackage and cobblestone sets from that curve from Lansdowne into the carhouse into at least the early eighties when my Dad took me to the division to visit (and I was allowed to roam around the maintenance pits, imagine *that* happening these days).

When I first heard the building was only going to be 7 floors I felt that it was a gross underutilization of a large brownfield within a few minutes walk from a subway station, but seeing it in person it feels incredibly heavy, with an overwhelming street presence. It's hugely out of context with the immediate area despite not being tall.

That's because it's a terrible building by a hack firm, not just because it's large.
