I'm not sure actually. There is no signage on the path yet but seeing how people are using the trail east of Carlaw, that this connects to, I would guess multi-use.

The trail on north side of Lake Shore east of Carlaw is used by both pedestrians and cyclists but I think mainly because the sidewalk is a fair bit further north and a bit more 'isolated'. In the new section the two are adjacent and there should be no 'confusion' or mixing.
