From this morning. Yeah, I have to work today...

South to North. Interesting how they extend the platform for the bricklaying.

In person, I think the two different colours of brick looks BAD. For me, "Breaking up the mass" is only second to "90 degree angular plane" in being a misguided, misapplied concept that creates awful distortions of our city's architecture.

Agreed. The detailing of the facade is great but the two brick colours irl is not successful, and it’s all meaningless when the ground floor is just flat curtain wall and aluminum

I'm having a hard time complaining about the masonry efforts on this one. Also like the curtain wall cut in the middle. The length of this project is pretty exceptional.

Yesterday:
I like the reflections from these images of the ground floor. But I reaally look forward to the sidewalk being restored here. When I came around 5 yesterday, when the sidewalks were crowded with trades leaving the site, I did some split second jaywalking just to get past the site...these were taken on the way home.
That's one thing thats been a sore spot for me. (the temporary walkway in front of the site)

I haven't seen the two distinct brick colors in person but from the pics I'm generally very impressed with the brickwork and the effort that's gone into making this building look special....until they got the ground realm, where they decided to go with sterile

Yesterday. I agree @FormerTorontonianBackInTO

I gotta say, this is a good reminder for me of just how tall 9 stories is. Granted, theres only slight setbacks onto Bayview. But this is a pleasant transition between what will be a cluster of huge towers (for the area), and the lowrise but vibrant strip to the south.

The landscaping is soon to begin along Bayview, with shipments of (silva cells) products on site.
