From yesterday, February 6. A milder day, and good to see work on the cladding underway again. Looks like a quite temperature sensitive job, unlike some of the precast concrete slab cladding sites, which can be installed in colder temperatures.

The north side looks lighter than the south side for some reason. Looks good.

Installation of the Cladding is now actively underway again, with a work proceeding on the second level along the west (driveway side) wall. Sections of the central entrance to the courtyard west wall have also been completed. A large number of cladding sections have been staged in the back (Wellington Street side) of the building, waiting on installation.

Does anyone have the SPA drawings archived here. Would love to take a look at how all this retail/lobby etc is going to function at ground level.

A couple of photos from the end of the week. First - installation of the second floor cladding / glazing sections has been completed along the entire west wall of King Toronto. Second photo - cladding installation underway along the south wall, starting from the south-west corner of the building. Overall - it appears the pace of installation activities has picked up quite a bit. The tower crane is being used to lift the second floor sections into position. A couple of possible reasons - in some areas, the set backs may make use of the spyder crane not possible, or due to the size of these sections, exceeding the spyder crane lifting capacity.
