Been planning on shooting it for sometime, but get push to another day like the Teagarden that is still not completed today as well.

This sucker will not see anyone move in until 2025 or 2026 as the inside is supposed to be a mess and looks like someone else has taken over.
I thought they were installing mechanical equipment on the roof and how wrong I was. They were removing it

Went past the site today and it was dead as it could be. Nothing has change since my May visit that I could see and looks like it gone under again

I'll still take this over the condition of the 5 & 10 site by Conservancy Group. - an utter blight to the area.

The 5 and 10 completely would have been a waste of a major intersection development potential.

Agreed, I'm glad it went bust. I hope it's next incarnation is as a mixed use site.

This site is still dead as a door nail as a week ago and another blight for the city. Never know, but it could be torn down and replace with something better and taller.
The 5 & 10 was a disaster from the word GO and meet with a representative of the company or one of the brothers during around table event at the LAC for transit on Dundas some years ago. Not impress with the remarks for the site as well the downgrading of the 18's tower to all townhouses for the site. Given how close the site is to the LRT, a number of 10's buildings could have been place on that site with some taller ones.
The retired ward councilor said that the whole block including the outdated retirement home up to the laneway could support high density with the LRT in the works as well the plan BRT on Dundas. A few new streets would surface for the site.
The sad thing about this site, it has seen all types of projects proposed for it and all have bitten the dust.
If one developer bought up all the land for that whole block, a great development would replace it in phases alone with the retaining of existing business as part of the base to the point some would increase in size.
