Excavation is starting:

Dig-downs has started at both Dundas Square Gardens and Grid. A year ago, I would have never expected Grid to catch up in construction progress to DSQ.

New fence/hoarding posts are going up on Dundas Street for both sites.

I suspect grid will be complete long before DSG.

Grid is taller, but a much smaller building overall. DSG has a ridiculous amount of GFA.

Wow. The attempt to vacate the rooming house was sketchy. The demolition was sketchy. And now the excavation looks, well, kinda sketchy.
