Much is unstable, Canada is a relatively stable place compared to certain affluent neighbours. I've been having conversations with a lot of my extended family stateside, most of whom are financially in good shape from New England and Colorado. It's entirely possible the market turns around, immigration ticks up to escape the paramilitary moves in the states, and this proceeds-though a rental conversion here makes far more sense than the bottomed out condo market to me.

What I would do is reduce the units and turn them into larger luxury ones, and extend the hotel space. I really want to see this built but no one in the right mind would pay $2500+ a square foot for a shoebox condo especially now.

Yeah freed has a habit of almost asking double the square footage price of the area anywhere they go I think their project up at Blue mountains is like $1,600 a square foot Just asinine to me

In my case, I admittedly never got to experience the Brunswick House when it was still around, for better or for worse. Luckily, I was able to get sloshed at the original Green Room and Cold Tea in their glory days though.

An unsuspecting frat boy once pinched my booty-short clad bum at the Brunny. The look on his face when I turned around was gold.
