This is an interesting exercise. That is, if someone rage quits taking their posts with them, the post numbers consistency still remains intact. Something I never knew about until now...

Deleting posts probably doesn't actually delete them. They are likely just flagged in the database to not display.

I just took his post as sarcasm. Did something happen upthread that I missed?

I get that. But the post numbers seems realign once the post is removed from public viewing by deletion or moderation...as the post breakdowns are 15 per page starting from one. Thusly, there are no gaps in the count as far as I can tell...

...what I do suspect is that the respective URL for each post does not change. As each post has it's own unique address...that would explain why the admin back channel is still likely to view the removed posts. And for what that's worth.

Just had a bad day on the Roger’s thread. But I’m happily gone. I tried to post that I’d miss bangkoks drone but that was deleted as well. What can you do? I can see banned peoples posts remain. I’m happy for mine to fully disappear or not being shown. 6300 posts is like a full time job. How does anyone become a superstar on here anyways. But I’ve basically deleted two threads. Now I’m working on eglinton which dan416 is in quite a bit whi ch is interesting since I live on eglinton before becoming his neighbour in Mississauga. Maybe urbantoronto can go back to the old days and have a Christmas party where we can celebrate Festivus and we can air our grievances.

Not sure what you mean about Eglinton? I've never lived around Eglinton. When I lived with my parents that was at Britannia, and I'm at Hurontario & Elm Dr now. I don't really get up to Eglinton much except driving past it, or the occasional walk up to Hurontario & Eglinton.

Unfortunately asking for better transit to Mississauga is like shouting into the ether. The mayors of Mississauga don't seem to ever have cared about making transit usable. They've never fought for a Bloor line extension. And Etobicoke hasn't fought for a simple extension to Cloverdale and/or Sherway either, so that doesn't help either. Since the Islington to Kipling extension back in the 1980s, there hasn't been a single westward extension of the subway, which given the population growth, is insane. But again, no one seems to care. Mississauga pretends its not just a suburb of Toronto, so asking for a subway extension from Toronto goes against that image, so I think that's the main reason it's never been seriously asked for.

I just saw you in the eglinton thread and saw your 416 and knew you had to obviously be new to those towers on elm because they’re brand new and guessed perhaps you had lived previously on eglinton. Hope you had a chance to check out the ultimate Halloween house at elm and Joan. If not put it on your next year to do list.

Btw when I complain about transit out here I’m told to be proactive and message the mayor, my councillor and the premier. Did all three and actually the third one face to face at a friends of mines family functions. So I did my work. What am I supposed to do. So yes I complain here sometimes. Also someone I know wayyyyyy up in the federal government who knows Omar first hand told me that Doug laughed him out of the room that they would ever pay for that Milton line. I have absolutely no reason not to trust this person. But there are people in here who have influence and are using it so I should be patient. People think tooo highly of themselves. Unless their last name is ford they don’t actually have any influence. Are they getting paychecks from the government. Sure. But no actual influence. Doug does what he wants but he was actually quite pleasant to talk to even if I would never vote for him.

The 416 is my birthday actually.

And I did happen to see the house at Elm and Joan when I was walking to No Frills on Halloween lol.

Well if Doug won't pay for the Milton line, let's vote him out and vote someone who will.
