This whole complex is looking great. Some info on the retail programming here - https://6ixretail.com/2025/03/fitzrovias-retail-vision-unfolds-at-elm-ledbury-development/

Looks like Rendezvous Barbershop, SOI Thaifoon, Aisle 24, and FAMO Sandwiches will open by Fall 2025

The company is still seeking a restaurant tenant for their “flagship space” – a precisely measured 2,738-square-foot opportunity with potential for a wrap-around patio.

Do you know if they've also replaced the really tall, skinny birchs currently touching the ground in the centre section of the parkette?

This is how the Birches and the parkette more broadly, looked yesterday, July 3rd, 2025:

Overall, with the replaced Birch the vegetation is doing well, the more established plants on the west side are quite lush, with very little exposed ground.

There are, just a couple of modest knocks on otherwise excellent work here.

1) With the new developments on Church, both Queen/Church and the proposal to the north thereof, there will be very little sun, if any, getting through here. Birch are not shade lovers, and most plants struggle to flower in low light. I don't think this was adequately considered.

2) CCxA continues to do great work, but I do find that in their plant selection they do have a propensity for green on green on green, with the odd pale white flower or such for a firm so well versed in lavish colour in structure and material I think they under utilize it in plants.

Bright colours are relatively uncommon in shadier spaces, but Wild Geranium could do well here in pink, Red Trillium might do ok in spring, downy yellow violet would be another in spring with a nice yellow to it.
