I previously did not know of, or encounter, the bird sculpture installed on site, so when I walked by, I took a photo of it:

Would someone please try to get the whole building into one shot, maybe from the west along Cumberland? We need something for the year end poll. Efforts will be much appreciated!

Such a bland addition to the Yorkville skyline and it’s fully exposed, grey mechanical box is the ‘icing’ on the cake. Another cookie cutter aA effort. The marketing render radically oversold the look of this building.

Nope. Just a very-well-executed background building. Not everything needs to do backflips and this well-detailed little affair does exactly what it needs to, nothing more.

I never said anything about backflips. It doesn’t bother you that the render promised much better detailing? We got little of the promised cladding elements, or the crown as shown in all the renders. That bothers me. Why put out a render you have no intention of building? I was looking forward to this one and, to me, it’s now just another bland aA building. So I expressed my disappointment. If you don’t consider it bland, then that’s fine. But please allow me my opinion instead of telling me my opinion is wrong.

I apologize, I was speaking of The Pemberton..but realized now I was doing so in the wrong thread... >.<

...and whilst I am not warm to Eight Cumberland, it's still a better build than it's surrounding neighbours, IMO.
