Bike lane construction. They finished the stretch between Jane and Weston on southside of Eglinton Ave. Now they are doing the Weston to Black Creek stretch.

Thanks but unfortunately not what I was looking for, the construction was going on right in front of the entrance, closest to Scotiabank on the north side of the road. Right infront meaning literaly the entrance with the sort of flower beds, benches and trees. Thought it was kind weird how it was fine but unfortunately not.

Oh ok i misunderstood. That work near the entrance is related to prep work and utility relocation for the tunnel to be constructed for the Western extension.

This rendering is from a 2019 Globe & Mail article about Mount Dennis. Anyone know where this "commons" area would be. The plazas outside the station don't seem this big.

Don't have to walk into the Mount Dennis Station to board any of these buses. Just use the bus stop on Northeast corner of Eglinton Avenue West and Weston Road.
Some will be a long wait, at the moment. Maybe September?

For those unfamiliar with the listed bus numbers, here's some help...
27 Jane South goes from Mount Dennis Station on Line 5 to Jane Station on Line 2
32 Eglinton West goes from Mount Dennis Station on Line 5 to Renforth Station
35 Jane goes from Mount Dennis Station on Line 5 to Pioneer Village Station on Line 1
935 Jane Express goes from Mount Dennis Station on Line 5 to Pioneer Village Station on Line 1
73 Royal York goes from Mount Dennis Station on Line 5 to Royal York Station on Line 2 via Eglinton Avenue West, Jane Street, Emmett Avenue, Eglinton Avenue West, Scarlett Road, La Rose Avenue, and Royal York Road, but signed 73B.
89 Weston looping both directions through Mount Dennis Station
989 Weston Express looping both directions through Mount Dennis Station
71Runnymede and 171Mount Dennis don't look right to me. 901 Airport-Eglinton Express is missing. Would like to see an updated Line 5 bus route update before September, if possible.

Yeah, I was thinking the 71 is off too. It would have to cut across 3 lanes of traffic with about 5 meters to the traffic lights and then turn left down Weston

Both 89 Weston and 989 Weston SOUTHBOUND. Their stop should be at the southwest corner on Weston Road.
The 89 and 989 NORTHBOUND buses would use the stop on the northeast corner.

Never thought I'd see so many routes at one stop! So what happens when more than 10 routes serve a stop, do we make taller poles or add a second stop?

The rerouted bus routes heading east on Eglinton approaching Mount Dennis will face quite the delays during the rush hour period. After the installation of the bidirectional bike lanes on southside of Eglinton, there are regular traffic backups approaching Weston Road.
