Now what are they doing?

What are they doing, you say? It looks like they took those things that look like stacks of wrapped, never-used tires that have been blocking the bus bays for ages, and put them in rubbish bins, then put some new stacks of construction materials out to block the bus bays with something else instead. I suppose it's a sign they won't be opening in September. 🙄
(BTW, is anyone ever going to fix the problem that when you try to insert a smiley in a post, the system inserts a different one, so we have to go looking for another? Or is that only happening to me?)

Likely Ontario Line 3's Don Valley Station construction and connection to Line 5. It should be an overhead station box.and trail tracks
Don't know about that. With such a big construction area blocked off for the station, I don't know why they would be storing contruction materials at the other end of the bus bays. Also, why would they need construction materials for the new part of the station, when they haven't even dug a hole for it yet? I think Natika was right to be suspicious, it looks to me like they're making last minute changes, perhaps rebuilding something that was already built, but done wrong. I know, I'm a pessimist. Maybe they're going to build a shelter for people standing out in the cold in the temporary bus park, if buses can't use the bays. Oh no, now I'm being an optimist.

Monarch, I just looked at your map again. I notice there are 7 bus stops surrounding the intersection. They are everywhere, EXCEPT on the west side of Don Mills by the SW corner, where the benches for people waiting for the bus are located. (And they're STILL behind a fence (old picture shown)).

I wish that were why, but just this summer they fenced off the western entrance and western part of the Line 5 area so that Ontario Line construction could proceed without infringing. I should note that I also saw them tearing up a section of the sidewalk they just built!
