The sightline to the big bear is blocked by the play structure leaving this poor bear frozen in a futile search.
I hate to be the one going around correcting people, but the title is Karma Chameleon, and it's not nonsense words, the song does have a meaning.Kuma Kuma Kuma Kuma Kuma Chameleon...you come and go, you come and go. >.<
It's clearly Karmann, Karmann, Karmann, Karmann, Karmann Ghiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaa. Everyone knows that, sheesh...I hate to be the one going around correcting people, but the title is Karma Chameleon, and it's not nonsense words, the song does have a meaning.
(On top of that, most people don't seem to understand what the word karma means.)

Oh dear, I'd forgotten. Domo.Kuma is Japanese for bear.
A couple of pages back, there is a photo of a sign which explains what it's about. The bear is sitting on a throne. Since the bear is fictional, the statue is unlikely to be a memorial. Some have said it reminds them of the Lincoln Memorial; that's the only connection I can see.Why does the big bear statue look like a memorial?
With the black stone, it feels like a solemn art object commemorating a sad event or something.
(unless the artist is comemorating last years Blue Jays season*)
Aha! (To this and James' post). I looked for signage, but didn't actually go up close to the building, just looked at the big sign on the corner (seen in the picture), and couldn't see anything about a TD branch. There were no signs in the station either, which I believe is going to be connected to the building underground, once there are some business like this which the public can use. I also looked online for an announcement, and found nothing. Does anyone know a projected opening date? Some signage has gone up for the new TD branch on the first floor.
I don't have any photos to share, but from peeking through the glass last time i was there, it looks pretty close to opening.Aha! (To this and James' post).
