The premise is sound, you can see the outline of the path, and what will be bench pads and benches.
Good. I am concerned, however, that the path looks too narrow. It looks to me like it should be at least 1M wider based on the volumes of traffic I would expect.
We can't see, yet, what detailed choices have been made, but they will need to prevent people from cutting across at the corners, both the outer ones, but also where the two narrower paths intersect.
I meant to mention this, I was by there on Sunday..............this looks horrible. I mean really well and truly awful. This isn't even the grade of green carpet you get at a baseball stadium, hell, its barely good enough for a mini-golf course. This is Walmart-grade.
Yuck!
Another complete waste of money and bad design brought to you by Parks. Sigh.

I do have to note w/some amusement though, that they did pay attention to my rant that you have to discourage people from walking where you don't want them to............notice the rock edging...........
But...they did this to protect crappy carpet? Also the seating locations and primary pathway width are incorrect.
The path is too narrow, and is encumbered by the choice of where to stick the bench pads en route.
The seating should be at both ends and bend around the corner to protect against wanderers.
Yeah, I saw them putting it in over the last few days, it's pretty awful. I had the same issues wjth the pathways too, but felt the rocks were a good touch.
