All this effort painting and repainting could have been avoided if they simply used red bricks for the repairs in the first place... Or just dye the mismatching bricks instead of painting it all blood red?

I don't get why they did this. How could Heritage allow such desecration?
The end product is looking great so I don't think its that big of a deal
 
...I think it was said somewhere the paint being used here is a more cost effect and a better alternative in preserving the brick, for what that's worth.

Perhaps we should wait to see the results before we go all Chicken Little.

I already showed why they painted it, they used the wrong brick colour for the repairs. And paint doesn’t preserve brick, it actually traps moisture which will cause spalling. It was already in good condition before the paint anyway.

Perhaps we should wait to see the results before we go all Chicken Little.
What results? They’ve ruined it.
