They had a while in the fall without much product IIRC. They announced a new brewmaster. And tbh, they have long been the weakest of the three Junction breweriesWithout any warning?? What is it with such nonsense, not even giving patrons the chance to visit one last time?
Also, why do you feel the writing has been on the wall for a while, @PL1 ?
It's been a few years since my days of driving around the city and seeking out interesting beers, but I wouldn't describe them as the weakest of the three. Rather, they seemed to solely do beers that came from a specific vision of the brewmaster, without much regard for what was popular out there. Maybe that's "weak" in terms of making money, but they made great beers that were often a lot more interesting than what the others were offering! They had a while in the fall without much product IIRC. Absolutely this - they didn't follow trends or offer generic brews that suck in the zombie normies. They even offered a durian IPA at one point. That made them the strongest in the area, if anything. Their Belgian style beers were great. But they are definitely not for the masses. Very small space, didn't help. I will miss them thoughAbsolutely this - they didn't follow trends or offer generic brews that suck in the zombie normies. They even offered a durian IPA at one point.
