Why is our planning department such a dissapointment. Nimby's I expect, but professional planners should be better than this. That entire block north of Main between the university and the hydro corridor should be rezoned as a medium density mixed use village, it's got a wide central ROW and direct connnection to the school, directly across from a grocery store and probably has a high percentage of student housing already.
