...I think it adds tameness to the "crazy" office tower next to it.

Love or hate them, Dollarama are too profitable for them to even consider rebranding. 🥲

I think the No Frills parking lot is more egregious in this instance, but I digress.
I am weirdly ok with No Frills and its parking. Grocery are pretty essential and the brand is actually pretty decent. I can't really say the same for Dollarama. Anyways, I digress.

to me thats backwards. Dollarama has more brand equity that No Frills IMO. D is a rare Canadian success story, no frills is part of the evil weston empire

Pretty off-topic but I have a specific disdain for Dollar Store. The logo is so ugly I think it instantly makes a street look worse.

You can all take comfort because that entire block (Dollarama, LCBO, and No Frills) will inevitably be redeveloped, though the project has been quiet for a long time: https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threads/toronto-king-east-centre-140m-39s-first-gulf-wzmh.6811/page-48 . With the Ontario Line Corktown Station going next door, there is no way the existing buildings will be there for very long.
