Visually/architecturally, I loved Amsterdam too. Tree heavy, water heavy, lots of quality brick in buildings and roads...........

But I have to say..........cuisine wise..............they have beer.......that's about it.

There is a permanent location in my fridge for sambal oelek, I know that much.. my grandfather is actually Dutch Indonesian having been born and raised in Jakarta before the war, so definitely some ties there!
