Are you thinking it's early? Because it was supposed to open at the start of this season (end of April).
 
Like a lot of you here I am also a coaster enthusiast. I am hyped to ride this but I refuse to believe things like “this is a top 5 ride in the world” and “better than Velocicoaster”. Guess I will find out tomorrow lol


In all seriousness though this ride looks absolutely batcrap insane

Well.... WELL...?????

I think many, many people would put it in their top 5 or close to it, mainly because it's just insane element after insane element and absolutely hauls ass haha

It was absolutely insane but 3 rides on it made me very motion sick. I’d say it’s a top 15 coaster in the world and my 4th favourite that I have ridden behind Steel Vengeance, Hyperia at Thorpe Park, and Millennium Force. Also probably the best launch in the world now that the original Top Thrill Dragster and Ferrari coaster in Abu Dhabi are not operating. I hope other parks get rides like this soon!

Ah Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster, two of the most insane and wild rides anyone could ever go on.

Alpen Fury must be really damn good if you're putting it along side names like the aforementioned two above.
 
I bit the bullet and got a 2026 FastPass for $600. I've already ridden it 8 times during 2 visits and I'm addicted to this ride.I still have Steel Vengeance as my #1, but this is just behind it overtaking Maverick. Airtime, head choppers, ejector air and not a single second of wasted time until you hit the break run... this coaster hauls. Other than the inverted top hat out of the mountain, the Skyflier Loop is easily my favourite aspect of the ride where you really feel the positive g's push against your body.

Other than the AI looking sign, they did a great job rejuvenating the area and from what I'm hearing they are adding more later on, they just wanted to open this ride ASAP. This coaster was worth the 6 year gap from Yukon Stryker and will pull crowds from across the globe where the lines will be 1.5 hours minimum for the next few years on average.

I'm still in awe this ride is a quick TTC ride from my house.
 
I finally went on AlpenFury. It was the best experience of my life!

Near the end, I almost felt that I was about to fall off my seat! It’s that great!

Highly recommend!

I even got myself an AlpenFury T-shirt and an AlpenFury baseball cap.

Canada’s Wonderland is now a world-class park!
 
Rode this bad boy last Wednesday... wow...

I'm still speechless with my rides. The way you get whipped on these inversions, the air time, forces... easily a top 5 coaster worldwide.
