*overall I'm really liking this and some of the refinements I see here. My only concern is the number of window facing Danforth that have, with honesty, been shown as having window film. If they could tweak the store layout such that even a couple of those windows were see-in/through that would be a positive.

* Note SuperKul remains attached, but Zeidler also on-board.

Yes please! Would love to see several towers of this height around every station on the Danforth.

I've heard that the Valu-Mart is closing February 2026. It sounded like staff were being notified

Unfortunate for staff, but a necessary step in the process.

Loblaw really should open an alternate location grocery store nearby, either interim or permanent.

The Shopper's locations at Danforth/Coxwell and Woodbine/O'Connor were both supermarkets in a previous lifetime, and could serve that purpose once more.

In the case of Woodbine/O'Connor, simply adding one of the mini No Frills to the north of the store, on largely disused parking could also work.

The No Frills at Coxwell and Gerrard will
be useful, as well as the Sobeys on Danforth near Main. Honestly, the locals by me call the ValuMart the "No Value Mart", as it's meh. Still, it's close and definitely serves a purpose, especially for those on a budget. That said, we try to shop at the smaller local stores for day-to-day vegetables and butcher needs.

Not wrong (see bolded).

Its Loblaws prices with No Frills selection and decor.
