If this project moves ahead in the immediate term, that would be outstanding news.

In retrospect, I realize that I saw temporary barriers and caution tape closing off the parking lot between the existing building and the house that lost part of its siding last year. I assumed, in the instant I passed the site, that the house would be receiving more substantial repair work and the parking lot would be closed off to permit that. Now I'm wondering if that was a preliminary step prior to actual fencing or hoarding being installed, assuming the project is at the pre-sitework stage (e.g. emptying the existing building, securing the site).

Drove by again yesterday and it looks like there is some excavation on the eastern portion of the parking lot, beside the house. Hard to say if its related to something larger.
