They just spent years removing decades of paint and layers of cladding restoring the brick, I'm pretty sure it's safe for the time being.

Can't help but notice how busy the sidewalk is and how empty the lanes are. A common occurrence in this area of Yonge.

And yet certain (some now former) councilors tried to claim no one walks down Yonge. (by showing a picture of it during lockdown in 2020).

If we're lucky they can start the Yonge St improvements as soon as the upgrades to College Station are done since that's also impacting the same area of Yonge (although much less than it was before). But on the other hand, I work near John St and we all know how that set of street improvements has gone.
