As someone that owns and lives in a south facing unit in 435 Richmond, really not looking forward to this. 🥹 I can only hope that all my natural light doesn't disappear
The building will be a metre plus higher than the building you are living in currently. So unless you relocate to the top floor facing that way...natural lighting will likely be at a premium. Sorry, I wish I could be more positive about your prospects here. >.<

Application to lift the 'H' (holding by-law) has been filed with the City as at February 5th, 2024.

2 new renders are included:

@Paclo will want to have a look at the height, which is expressed as 17 storeys + MPH; in Meters, the current Database number is used in one portion of the docs, but the elevation drawings are a tiny bit shorter.

The architectural elevations show the same black metal cladding design for the entire north and south side of the building while the renderings of the south facade show what looks to be zinc shingled cladding with deep punched windows (ganged up in groups of pairs or threes vertically) up to the 8th floor, and the black metal cladding/window wall from the 9th floor up. All these drawings were dated at the same time.
I hope the zinc cladding of the lower half of the facade is retained instead of having the entire building in the same black window wall cladding, though I think a warmer colour would be a much bigger improvement.
