Lol the interior of this is so difficult to visualize from the outside..

Ok I think I understand now by seeing the skylights and their orientation - that "gap" in the top picture actually runs right to left, with a block of building in the "front" and another in the "back" - like there were 2 buildings here originally and they just skylight gapped over them. I added the red cuz I know it was being worked on but I am unsure of it is part of this project or a separate one..

The question is - what the hell is like 3/4 of all of these buildings being used for? They run so deep onto the plot..

Still great to see these buildings maintained and restored instead of just allowed to rot and collapse COUGHS*WILSON*COUGHS

Any idea what's going in that giant spot left over btw? Or will it forever remain just a hole in the downtown..

You and I are going to go into business and open the best hot dog stand of all time there. Either that, or it will sit empty for 15+ years.

I did see somewhere where they said they planned to use it as event space - I guess similar to the tivoli lot - so I guess both your options can come true! Winners Wieners, here we come!

Off topic, but I'd love to see some concerts held where the buildings collapsed while it remains a flat, barren space... which it could be for a while.
