Shoring/Excavation Permit haven't yet been applied for,... but likely soon,... relatively easy to get,...
 
...then they're probably more confident in applying for the cart then. 😼

Hmmm,... so 2 representatives from Times Group (owner and son/lawyer) called Mayor Olivia Chow to discuss 5800 Yonge (Jan 14, 2025), one week before meeting with the Local Cllr about it,.... weird, not often see lobbyist try to go over the local Cllr - and contact Mayor directly!

Here at 5800 Yonge, City of Toronto's SSHA/TSSS is tenant of landlord Times Group,... so City's SSHA/TSSS uses the 5800 Yonge building to host a Refugee Shelter on-site,... until Times Group is ready to start demolition then construction

any interpretations of what this gesture shows of what they are wanting to do? by going to mayor before local councillor
 

Going through the CoA to increase to the heights of the podium elements of the buildings and the daycare building, and to reduce the required vehicular parking rate for residential uses.

Tower heights are now 176.23m, 170.33m, 156.5m, 150.61m and the childcare centre is 11.27m

CoA hearing scheduled for Sep 25.
