Sadly, it's one of my least favourite YMCA's from the big push in the 1980s. It features a long corridor but the rest of the building isn't organized around it, so the pool, changerooms and gym feel scattered at the rear. Other than the corridor, the layout is extremely confusing and there are dead spaces and uncomfortable spaces. If everything branched off of the main corridor, like Metro Central's big staircase, it would have been great. Instead, it's a very disappointing interior.
 
Crew on site today, not sure for what... Assuming (guessing) it's for sewage and water lines...

Resubmitted now with both towers at 48-storeys and the following additional stat changes:
  • Total residential units decreased from 1219 to 1115
  • Total vehicular parking increased from 641 to 670
  • Total bicycle parking decreased from 1007 to 920
  • Max height decreased from 179.84 to 164.39m

Something @Paclo didn't mention............somewhere along the line we picked up 2 more elevators, so we're 12, with 1,115 units, we're now at one elevator per 93 units, a significant improvement.

Clearly someone wanted @ProjectEnd 's endorsement here..... and really who can blame them!
 
Not really a fan of the towers being the same height.

Though...since it is with all of the "New York" buildings it might be considered an homage to the Twin Towers RIP.
