That looks like prefab coreslab. It’s typically fabricated with a camber. That ‘warp’ is engineered and will flatten as it’s loaded, hence why you observed it changing. The slab will receive a topping for a level finish.
It's a template for a new style of Tetris that they're trying out here. They should keep the neon green colour lol
Also what's up with the giant rectangles cut out between the windows? They seem much to big for ventilation?

Absolutely! I am SO excited for Main Street conversion starting later this year. It will feel like a completely different city when done.Continues to grow. Main Street is such a hostile place. More of these and the two-way conversion can't come soon enough.

too bad it won't be done until 2028.Absolutely! I am SO excited for Main Street conversion starting later this year. It will feel like a completely different city when done.
hamilton is incredibly allergic to ground floor retail. developers will blame homeless people or whatever but every new development is being built like a fortress against walking traffic.Still really wish this one, the one beside it, and the proposals across the street incorporated retail units in to them. With the upcoming conversion of Main to two way here and an LRT stop a very short walk away on Dundurn, I feel like thats a big missed opportunity for the area.
