No building permits have even been applied for at this point.

This one will be dormant for quite a while.
Considering present market conditions, this doesn't surprise me, thanks for the insight as always NorthernLight. I'm glad to see this site redeveloped later on, though thats partly based on my disdain for local construction activities pertaining to the transit line underneath Eglinton.

A park surrounded by a concrete bunker? I dont think that's a wise idea at all.

That said i'm surprised the city didnt explore purchasing the site for exactly that reason, since they've had interest in making illogical stupid purchases (a la Queen and Augusta).

You know the adage here is that it would be better than what they're planning to stick in here instead. >.<
 
Too bad a temporary shipping container pop up market and gathering space isn't planned for this vacant corner.
