Impressive that even though Carlyle have added storeys and units, they're going with 5 cabs for 520 units here.

We need to place the above in context for those who don't scroll back............. earlier in the thread:

439 units...3 elevators. Architecture is nice, but that ratio sucks.

Not sure that's helping Carlyle's case here, as they went from a cat o' nine tails to one of seven in the analogy. >.<

Not...?

...I guess if they can VE this ratio without potential buyers catching on is helping their case quite a bit actually. So I'll just shut up now. >.<

Potential buyers are scrutinizing plans like never before given current market sentiment. I am pretty certain the price would have reflected a high or low elevator ratio...

Summary on the increase to 62 storeys

Good to see you back @Paclo.

Maybe a bit less partying on the next weekend trip to Vegas, you're off to a slow start today. LOL

Municipal resubmission to address staff comments & OLT conditions. Stat changes include:
  • Total residential units increased from 520 to 604 (remains incl. 36 rental replacement)
  • Total bicycle parking increased from 582 to 615
  • Minor GFA reduction and unit mix redistribution
Still no full height renderings of the 62-storey design.
