Mississauga’s planning and development committee has greenlit a proposed 39-storey apartment building with 484 units in Cooksville.
On June 22, committee members unanimously approved applications to amend the official plan and the zoning to permit the development, located at 3115 Hurontario St., south of Kirwin Avenue.
The 0.25-hectare site (0.62 acres), owned by Clearbrook Developments Ltd., is currently occupied by a two-storey building that houses The Dam, a non-profit organization offering youth drop-in, outreach and programming.
