Distrikt have submitted an entirely new OPA to increase the height of two towers by three-storeys each for a total of 33-storeys plus mezzanine.

The holding provision on the site of this application will be removed today which was in place due to infrastructure and other town/region related works in the area, meaning we might start to see contruction beginning in the near future. As of right now the site is approved for two 30 storey buildings, with the extra 3 storeys mentioned above not yet being approved. It might get approved if Distrikt provides more bonusing money to the town or integrates affordable housing in the development, otherwise I don't see council approving it.
 
Is there any update as to when construction will begin?
Considering they haven't started sales yet and the current market... probably not anytime soon.

Also the height extension proposal has been in limbo for a long while now so not sure what Distrikt plans to do about that.
 
The Official Plan Amendment to increase the towers' heights to 34 residential floors has been removed from the town website, which makes sense given the current market. Im guessing this is back at 31 floors now. That brings its height back to 100 meters.
