The forum certainly lost one of its most memorable characters. I consider myself quirky and eccentric, but that guy took it to another level!

Urban Shocker was another major character on the forum back in the day. Just dig some digging and wow it's already been well over a decade since US last posted.

Starting motion to have UrbanAffair renamed as UrbanDreamer, considering the previous UD has been AWOL for years now. 😉
UrbanDreamer remains very active in the Canada section of SkyscraperPage.com, a national forum concerned with almost everything except skyscrapers (Ranked: #1. What's your weather? #2. Western Canadian hockey teams #3. Federal politics ....etc.... #47. Top 10 Tallest Under Construction) 🤔 .

He does contribute to posts about Toronto proposals (slags them 99.9% of the time ;-) and occasionally contributes to Toronto construction threads by posting his own (always grey day) photos of the ugliest projects in the city (Social is a favourite of course).

I'm not sure UrbanNightmare has an anti-Toronto agenda (obscure satire perhaps?) ...pretty sure he lives in the Kitchener area now.

I don't recall what his tights looked like, but if they made yours look 'normie'.... they must have been outlandish

Maybe you don't remember, but he actually went on some tv show with Ed Skira to discuss Toronto developments while wearing a freakin' mask. It was cringe of the highest order. Poor Ed looked so embarrassed.

I didn't remember that. @Edward Skira can you walk us down memory lane?

It was recorded at the Rogers studios on York Mills near Don Mills. 10--15 years ago. A broker had a show (can't remember who exactly) and I was asked to participate. I get there and he's wearing a monkey mask. Did the entire show like that. Took it off only after the show was done. Rather ridiculous of the host not forcing him to remove it. Or not providing me with one!

I seem to recall it was the 2016 update of the site that had UD decide he would leave. I now see why you might not have been so sad to see the back of him...
